The Results from the Wizo’s Drawing Contest “60 to Israel”
I would like to thank all the participants at the Wizo’s Drawing Contest for the 60 Yom-Ha’Atsmaut. KOL HAKAVOD! We received Eighty four lovely drawings. It was exiting to see great ideas and performances. A committee which included five judges; Mrs. Pazit Rubin, Mrs. Galit Ashman and myself as representative of Wizo and two art teachers; Mrs. Taly Shemi and Mrs. Hana Gotesman, chose the best drawings. The choosing was not easy since there were many great works. The bestdrawings will be presented in a special exhibition at the ceremony of Yom-Hazikaron on May 6 at the Spangenberg Theatre at Gunn Highschool, Palo-Alto. You can enjoy the “Top Ten” drawings below.
Thanks to the generosity of “Bob & Bob” we decided to award not only one but five talented young artists. The prizes will be given to the winners’ parents at the Yom Ha’Atsmaut party which will take place on May 7 at the Illussions club in Palo-Alto (more details about the party are also in our website).
